I’m blogging again. I took some time off, okay a long time off, to focus on writing. But after the year we’ve had I thought I’d get back into blogging and do it my way. Which is meandering and slow and sometimes quiet, and probably a grammar police nightmare. I won’t be here every day, but I hope to be here a lot. Kind of like a running journal or a pen-pal with the world.
The theme of the blog is Read, Write, Play, Pray. Because we do read and some of us write, and we all like to escape to just play. But we always say our prayers. I named the blog after my alter ego Elnora. We stumbled into WordPress, somehow. Don’t ask. Since she got me into this, she will be hovering around to get all of us in trouble. She has a snarky mouth and a wicked sense of humor. But I hope we have fun and chat about the positive things in life. I enjoy online chats on social outlets, but they get so fast and furious at times. Here, we will take things easy and just go with the flow. No hassle, no hustle, no time out. Just good clean fun. Who’s with me?
I hope you’ll follow me as I learn how to actually run my own blog. You see, I grew up in Georgia where we had bogs–big old puddles of mud that required getting down and dirty at times. I don’t want to get bogged down on my blog, however. We’ll keep things clean and focused on everything except politics and cilantro. Deal? So if you’re looking for a place to get away from it all, you’ve found it.

“There is more to life
than increasing speed.”

Grab your drink and let’s chat …….

What are you reading?
Do you write?
Do you play?
How do you pray?
Ask Elnora a question and together, we’ll find an answer!
Currently reading a book from my TBR stack.
I do write.
Reading is my play.
And I pray just by talking to the LORD.
